Check-In & Getting Settled Arrival: Self-check-in after 2 PM via smart lock (code provided in details). Park in designated areas that allow for easy entry / exit - and be careful not to block your Denali views. Wi-Fi: Network: JD Cooter Chalet | Password: Denali-2024 Heating: Cabins use diesel-fueled electric Toyo heaters, programmable right at the source. Keep doors/windows closed to retain heat. Turn the electric fireplace heaters off when not present. Water & Power: Drinking water provided in the kitchen’s 5-gal dispenser. Water heaters provide comforting showers, though not tankless. Please turn off lights when not in use. Water & Septic: We’re on well water and a septic system. A slight water odor is normal and expected in the Last Frontier on the well. The septic system can be sensitive - thank you for disposing of only provided toilet paper, down the toilets. Flushable wipes, paper towels, diapers, tampons / pads - will cause clogs and are not allowed. Please dispose of them in the provided bins. Amenities & How-Tos Kitchen: Fully stocked basics (pots, utensils, spices, etc.). Use countertop convention & airfryer oven as standard - clean after. Bathroom: Septic system - flush only TP and waste. Hot water limited. Outdoor Gear: Fire pit for campfires (check burn bans via Alaska Fire Info app). Ensure to extinguish absolutely and fully.
